Wonder is about a boy named August "Auggie" Pullman. He has a rare facial deformity that causes him to look different from other children. The story follows Auggie through his first year in a pubic school and all of the triumphs and tribulations he faces as the new kid. The simple cover art leaves much to wonder about what the main character looks like.
